How to get to Beaver Island

Daily flights to Beaver Island (Township Airport) from the Charlevoix Airport are available through out the year. Generally the first flight from Charlevoix is 8 am (earlier available by request) with multiple flights through out the day and into the evening. Just give us a call at 231-237-9482 or fill out our Contact Form below with your travel requests and we will do our best to get you on the most convenient flight available.

Make your airline connections easy- fly directly to Traverse City or Pellston with a charter flight - Flight time to Traverse City is just a 1/2 hour and extremely convenient. Call for details.

Much of what Beaver Island offers is free for the finding: beachcombing, bird watching, biking, camping, hunting, fishing in the bays or inland lakes, cross country skiing, or exploring the outer islands. There are over 100 miles of scenic roads and too many old trails to count. Shipwrecks. Abandoned old Morman cabins. Beaver dams. Splendid fall colors. The beauty of wildflowers. The more people enjoy just getting away, they more they love Beaver Island.

BOIS BLANC

Flights to or from Bois Blanc Island are scheduled by request. We can offer flights from either St. Ignace or Cheboygan airports upon request. We only utilize twin engine aircraft that have a greater safety factor and can fly in lower weather minimums than a single engine aircraft.

From St. Ignace to Bois Blanc Island (Boblo) the adult one way airfare is $55 per person with a 3  (adult) seat minimum. Plus you get 40 pounds of luggage per person at no extra charge. Anything over the #40 is 30 cents a pound. Children (2-9 yrs old) are $45 and dogs (30 pounds and up) are $25.

From Cheboygan to Bois Blanc Island (Boblo) the adult one way airfare is $65 per person with a 3 (adult) seat minimum and you also get 40 pounds per person at no extra charge. Children (2-9 yrs old) are $52 and dogs (30 pounds and up) are $29.

When possible we will work with you to try to ride share. Due to the normal amount of freight we see customers taking to Boblo we generally limit the flights to just 3 passengers one way to the island. Off the island we maybe able to get more people per flight depending on weights and estimated luggage.

Please do not hesitate to give us a call with any questions or if you need to schedule a flight.
